Biography

Hi, I’m Lisa and these are my two wonderful, funny, full-of-mischief babies, Grace and Ethan, and the inspiration for this blog. I became a mum in 2013 and my world was turned upside down. Gone were the carefree days of early morning gym visits, last minute nights out and regular trips to the beautician. Even my professional life took a hit and I left the security of my full-time job as a health journalist to concentrate on being mum. Life has thrown a few curve balls since then but, so far, I’m still here.

Why Connect with Journalists?

The role of print press in today’s society is widely debated and scrutinized. But the role of the journalist is as important as ever. In this digital, tech-driven age, journalists work across digital, print, mobile and more, increasing not only their importance but also their accessibility.

So if you are aiming to establish a strong PR programme and increase the likelihood of media opportunities and coverage for your brand, building relationships with journalists in your sector is imperative to achieving those goals.
