Guest Speaker Emily Joy McCorkell is an American native who has lived in both Ireland and Northern Ireland for over 10 years.

She is a curious and creative person who has grown up in a creative household, with both parents active in cooking and creating cuisines at home.

Her desire is to offer creative solutions to the root of so many problems: the problem of being overstressed and undernourished. Due to her husband’s sudden illness, she has expedited her desire to pursue a more comprehensive rhythm of health and wellness for her family. This has led her to share on various media avenues, garnering interest from friends, family, and strangers alike.

As a Creative, she has put her interests to work. Emily has recently written for Innovative Health: Wellness & Healthcare Magazine based in Michigan, and is looking to expand her writing platform to various local and international publications.
Emily is in the process of launching an American smoked barbecue business, offering bottled sauces to the public, to restaurants, and a range of smoked meats including pulled pork, beef brisket, ham, and whole turkeys.

She says, “I have been in education my entire life. I am passionate about empowering women to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I believe that the greatest lesson we can learn in life is self love. When we learn to love and approve of ourselves we align with the universe and attract into our lives more of who we truly are. What I know for sure is this everyone is going to die but not everyone is going to live. It is my belief that our natural state is happiness and by focussing on what we really, really want we can achieve all of our goals without limitations.
I believe it’s an inside job.”
