Tropic Skin Care Ambassador, Joanne Chambers is originally from Fermanagh living in Magherafelt for 14years now.

She has one boy age 8 and a 21 year old step-daughter.

I asked Joanne how she started her business. She told me,

“I worked as a youth worker up until around 3 years ago. I travelled a lot with work and felt I wasn’t home enough for my son. I have always had an interest and passion for skincare and beauty products. I knew about Tropic from following Lord Sugar and Susan Ma on Twitter and after looking into the company and using the amazing natural products I was hooked. I love the ethos of how natural and ethical each product is.”

I asked Joanne to tell me about her product or service.

“I am an independent ambassador  with Tropic Skin Care. Our core Skin Care is 100% Naturally derived and made using plant and fruit extracts. Our skin care and body care are made freshly in our beauty kitchen at HQ. We do not contain any harmful chemicals are never tested on Animals (carry both the leaping bunny and Peta logos) and Vegan Society approved.”

I asked Joanne what her biggest struggle is in her business and she said, “The biggest struggle in the early days was having the confidence to get out there and talk to people. I got over this by simply facing the fear and doing it anyway.  Now I am quite comfortable to get out and share the wonderful world of Tropic”

She advises that if you have a passion and an interest go for it – Face the Fear and believe in yourself.

In her spare time, Joanne loves to ride her horse.

She is most proud of reaching the rank of Senior Ambassador.
