Driving her business forward.. Cooktown Event 28/02/18
I loved hearing Orlagh Moore tell us how she started her business and with little stock and big ambition has had to keep driving it forward. Not only through changing times but through the birth of children and including twins and having at times to take them to work with her
– Yes we have been there!
Orlagh owns Ring O’Rosies Childrenwear shop in Dungannon and it also sells a range of gift and toys.
Orlagh has an infectious personality and it was a no brainer why customers love her!
For me, I could completely identify with Orlagh as she told us of all the problems she had encountered as a business over a changing period in time. She spent a lot of money on a website when websites were very new and the company that she hired closed up and because they were hosting her site, it also closed up. She had to invest in another one but that took some time. Her evenings are now spent uploading products and photos and prices but that comes with the job, and now she sends parcels all over Europe.
Getting customers through the door was a priority for Orlagh and she invested a lot of money in advertising and some worked and some didn’t. With the introduction of social media, firstly Facebook and now Snapchat, Orlagh is able to connect with her customers on a One to One Basis, which keeps them coming back – check her out on snapchat!
Orlagh also wrote a blog on the event which is below the heading at the top of the page
